North West might have a strikingly done-up style for a 13-year-old, but there is one piercing her famous parents simply won’t sign off on. In a new interview, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West revealed the exact modification she wants — and the rule she has to respect.
The one piercing she can’t get
Speaking to Dazed for its autumn 2026 issue, North opened up about her evolving collection of studs, which already includes piercings on her face, fingers, hands, wrists and thighs. When asked which she’d most like to add next, she was direct: “I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I’m not allowed.”
A bridge piercing runs horizontally through the skin across the top of the nose — a look that’s been growing in popularity with the alt-teen crowd. It’s one step further than the style the Kardashian-West household has so far accepted.
What North says about her style
For North, the piercings are about identity more than rebellion. She told the magazine they “just make you your full self.” And when it comes to the criticism she draws, she shrugs it off: “I’d wear anything for real. I like to try new things, but I do like to have my own style. It’s just easy.”
She also pushed back against the teenage peer pressure narrative with what quickly became the quote of the interview: “Everyone’s in love with boys, vaping, and doing all kinds of bad stuff. All I want is blue hair and piercings.”

Kim Kardashian has spoken warmly before about supporting her daughter’s choices. On the Call Her Daddy podcast in October 2025, she described how North stays confident: “She’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair or my this or that.’ And she’s really confident.”
North also floated a very different ambition in the same interview — telling Dazed she wants to pick up a “regular job” at Starbucks next year when she turns 14. Between the blue hair, the studs and the coffee-shop plans, she’s keeping everyone guessing.
